CSIR has a scheme for providing full/partial travel assistance to any deserving bright young Indian Research Scholars / Scientists working in an academic or research institution in India for participating in Conferences/ Symposia/ Workshop etc. held abroad. The applicant should have passed at least M.Sc/B.E./MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized University/ Institute and his/her age should not normally be above 40 years on the date of commencement of the event. For scientists, these age restrictions do not apply. The applicant should have his/her paper accepted for presentation in the event. Only those who have not received travel support in the previous three years are eligible for consideration.
