Gender Advancement for Transforming Institutions (GATI)

About

The Department of Science and Technology (DST) introduced a novel pilot project called Gender Advancement for Transforming Institutions (GATI). It launches a cutting-edge intervention program to advance gender parity in technology and science.

Eligibility Criteria

Universities, Research institutions (of DST, CSIR, DBT, ICMR, ICAR etc.), Institutes of National importance, and other autonomous S&T Institutions are invited to participate in pilot of Gender Advancement for Transforming Institutions (GATI) programme of Government of India. GATI seeks to encourage research and higher education institutions to support diversity, inclusivity, and the full range of talent for their own advancement. It specifically seeks to address these issues by fostering an environment that encourage women's equal participation in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, medicine, and mathematics) at all levels.
