Women Scientists Scheme-A (WOS-A) provides platform to women scientists and technologists for pursuing research in basic or applied sciences in frontier areas of science and engineering.
Eligibility Criteria
Women having qualification in Science and Technology area and in the gae group of 27 to 57 years
Physical & Mathematical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, Earth & Atmospheric Sciences, and Engineering Technology
Fellowship / Financial Assistance
1. Rs 55,000/- pm for Ph.D. or equivalent (total project cost not exceeding Rs.30 lakh)
2. Rs 40,000/- pm for M.Phil./MTech or equivalent (total project cost not exceeding Rs.25 lakh)
3. Rs 31,000/- pm for M.Sc. or equivalent (total project cost not exceeding Rs.20 lakh)
