Project Overview
The individual screening tests such as urine, Can risk and IDRS can be used to estimates prevalence rate of diabetes in rural areas which would be close to true estimates. Even combined tests such as urine and Canrisk tests can also be used to estimate prevalence which is closer to the prevalence detected by fasting glucose tests but not very good when compared to prevalence detected by postprandial blood glucose test.
