Project Overview
During this project facility to diagnose 39 human pathogenic viruses using most advanced diagnostic tools was established. Moreover a link with public health systems and IDSP was established for investigation of viral origin outbreaks. The facility for diagnosis of viral infection in UP was negligible due to which diseases like AES, dengue, flu went undiagnosed, which can be done with confidence. Lab has progressed substantially in research and patented three products. Total 55 papers have been published. Lab is a favorite destination of medical and research students and many are trained and have done their thesis and dissertations in the lab.
