Cell culture adapted duck plague virus(DPV)vaccine candidate (DPV/As/Km/19)has been identified and its immunogenicity was evaluated by a control animal experiment in ducks. The vaccine produced promising antibody titre including neutralization titre upto day60 post immunization. Indirect ELISA for detection of specific antibodies against DPV,CSFV, PCV2, JEV, Brucella spp. And Coxiella burnetiid have been optimized by using recombinant protein or immunogenic peptides as coating antigen. A competitive ELISA having DIVA potential for multi species Brucellosis has been developed and validated. Three lateral flow assay(LFA)for detection of JEV, DPV and Brucella specific antibodies have also been optimized, and validation process with licencing formalities of LFA for Brucella antibody detection has been completed. One multiplex qPCR assay and one duplex qPCR assay(one for RNA viruses and other for DNA viruses of pigs) are standardized for detection of different swine viruses which includes, CSFV, PRRSV, ASFV, PCV2 and PPV. Both the multiplex/duplex PCR assays are highly sensitive and specific. Rapid nucleic acid-base assays such as PSR or LAMP have been optimized for detection of CSFV, PRRSV andPCV2and the run time for these assays is less than one hour and results could be obtained without any sophisticated instrument. Besides vaccine vaccines and diagnostic assays, two AI based mobile apps (PDDS & NERLDF) have been developed for livestock disease diagnosis and early disease forecasting to be used by veterinarians, para-vets and livestock farmers.
