We wish to study properties and structure of algebraic fundamental groups of varieties over field of positive characteristic. This includes the etale and the Nori fundamental group. For instance we wish to study embedding problems for the etale fundamental group for smooth curves. We also wish to study various properties of Nori fundamental group. For instance Lefschetz hyperplane type theorem for quasi-projective varieties for both Nori and etale fundamental groups.
