Project Overview
Cloud computing has become a crucial part of current digital infrastructure that supports many important services such as banking, reservations, and video streaming platforms, leveraging features like elasticity, scalability, and containerization. Containers and micro-service architecture offer agility and resource efficiency but also introduce new security vulnerabilities. Among various attacks, Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks are particularly prominent due to their direct impact on service availability. As defense mechanisms grow stronger, attackers have shifted toward sophisticated multi-vector DDoS attacks that exploit multiple layers and protocols such as volumetric, protocol-based, and application-layer attacks to exhaust resources and disrupt legitimate services.
