Project Overview
Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have emerged as promising materials for hydrogen-related applications due to their tunable physicochemical properties. This study aims to systematically investigate the role of organic ligands and metal centers in Fe and Cu based MOFs for hydrogen adsorption, production, and electrocatalytic performance. This study will enable a deeper understanding of carrier transport dynamics within MOFs and their stability under operational conditions. The outcomes will provide a fundamental and practical framework for the rational design of MOFs for efficient hydrogen energy applications.
