Project Overview

This project aims to design and develop a soft exosuit that facilitates upper arm rehabilitation through real-time GUI monitoring, focusing on enhancing mobility in the hand, wrist, and elbow. With the increasing prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders and neurological impairments, there is a critical need for affordable, efficient, and user-friendly rehabilitation devices. Unlike traditional rigid exoskeletons, the proposed soft exosuit leverages soft robotics principles, providing users with a lightweight, flexible, and comfortable solution that adapts to individual anatomies. The exosuit’s advanced actuation mechanisms, integrated with the GUI, enable real-time tracking of joint movements and therapy progress. By delivering biofeedback, the device encourages active patient participation, while allowing physiotherapists to monitor data remotely and personalize treatment protocols. This innovative approach aims to not only improve the patient experience but also significantly enhance rehabilitation outcomes, helping users regain upper limb mobility and strength more effectively.
