Project Overview
The National Geospatial Policy, 2022, aims to strengthen the geospatial sector for national development and economic prosperity. A 21-day Level-1 training program on Geospatial Science and Technology is planned at NIT Calicut to promote capacity building, entrepreneurship, and international cooperation for sustainable socio-economic development. The program focuses on teaching, research, development, open-source GIS use, and networking among government, academic, research, and industrial organizations. Participants will learn fundamental concepts, recent advances, and application-oriented projects. Field investigations will also be included.
