Objective: • Development of corrosion protective aluminum, zinc based and multilayer (Zn, Ni, Snetc) based coatings on AA (2024-T3) as well as AA 2014 by using low pressure cold spray process.• Evaluation of the coatings for their thickness, micro-hardness and adhesion strength. • Morphological and structural characterization of the developed coatings.• Electrochemical behaviour and corrosion protection studies of the coatings using OCP and PDP techniques.• Long term corrosion exposure studies by subjecting the samples in 3.5 wt.% NaCl aqueous solution for 24, 48, 96, 336 h. • Performance evaluation of coatings and comparison with the un coated alloys.
