About
Integrating Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)-based crop stress monitoring with ground-truth verification from field-based Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) systems, is the proposed solution for generating unbiased, fast and accurate evaluation of crops facing water-stress and in need of immediate attention. This analysis would help the farmers as well as various agencies in planning and scheduling irrigation for the crops. In cases of crop damage or failure due to natural calamities, this method can be used for crop damage assessment in a fast, precise, cheap and efficient manner.
