Project Overview

Objective: Aim of the project is to develop highly sensitive, robust spin valve GMR sensing element having low hysteresis and high linearity for current sensing application.Objective of the work will be - Deposition of magnetic multilayer stack on 4 inch wafer with optimized condition to have thermal stability higher than 150oC; Fabrication of GMR sensing elements in operating range less than +/- 50 G using 4” wafer technology; Design and development current sensing chip to measure the current in the range +/- 50 A; Field test in collaboration with the industry partner; Knowhow of transfer and commercialization of the product.
