Project Overview
The superhydrophobic coating on tissue paper, is not only provided the desired durability to tissue paper towards aqueous exposure, but the extreme repellency in the coated tissue paper absolutely restricted the penetration of water droplets. Thus, this economic approach has potential to protect from contamination by corona virus containing aqueous droplets. Further, virus killing ability of this superhydrphobic coating is under progress as this superhydrophobic tissue paper is loaded with surfactant like molecules.
