Project Overview
The project proposes to use structure-based screening of antivirals against SARS- CoV-2 targeting key viral genome replication enzymes such as viral protease that are responsible for the cleavage of non-structural polyprotein and their activation; RNA dependent RNA polymerse as it carries out both primer-independent and primer-dependent synthesis of viral RNA; and G-N7-MTase (nsp14) responsible for camouflaging and obscuring viral RNA from host cell sensing machinery.
