Project Overview

Structures commonly experience mixed mode fracture in real engineering applications. Mode I fracture properties are significantly used in engineering calculations since it is worst case scenario. However, knowledge of mixed mode fracture characteristics of materials will enable designers to decide the actual margins in actual engineering applications.
