The project aims to design, develop and manufacture a heavy payload multirotor autonomous flying platform called as Drone Hopper to be used as a firefighting quick-response Drone, capable of transporting and releasing 150 litres of water (with additives) precisely, at a low altitude, over the fire. The platform will consist of a hexacopter multirotor powered by 6 independent turboshaft turbines. Each turbine will be combined to a reduction gearbox to adapt rpm to the optimum operational point for the propellers
