Outcome / Output

There is a pressing need to develop a more sensitive alternative method for diagnosing SARS-CoV-2. This project is planned in developing a potential solution, a concept of a portable, high-sensitive one-step diagnostic method exploiting the optical properties of gold nanoparticles (AuNP) conjugated with Angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE-2) aptamers when it binds with a target SARS-CoV-2 using Lateral flow assay (LFA).
