Objective: Development of alpha-Synculein aggregation model in cell culture; Mutation in mitochondrial genes and development of Oxphos-deficiency models; Validation of candidate assembly chaperones by RC-activity assays; Characterisation of candidate assembly chaperones; Deregulation of RC biogenesis in Oxphos-deficiency models; Testing efficiency of newly identified assembly chaperones in improving cellular respiration in 18-36 months.
