About

Objective: To identify the Histone modifiers through which DurgamcRNA regulates the chromatin marks at the Kalrn locus. To study the composition of (knockdown of) DurgacRNA -protein complex¬in zebrafish and mouse primary neurons. Exploring the epigenetic consequences of miR-449a, miR-539 and lncRNA H19 in the skeletal muscle of animal models of obesity and diabetes. In-vitro and in-vivo mechanistic validation of the identified ncRNA mediated epigenetic deregulation and consequent roles in aberrant cell metabolism. Detection of selected C. longa miRNA (clo-mir-14) in human sera and synovial tissues of RA and comparing its abundance in host. Screening of proteins effected by in vitro transfection of clo-mir-14 in RA primary cells. In vivo studies in model systems(CIA) for validating the effect of clo-mir- 14 towards selected proteins and analyzing their role in inflammation.
