About

The aim is to develop a cost-effective, portable, and powered exoskeletal orthosis. The target population of the above-said device would be subjects with Cerebral Palsy (CP) with crouch gait as a result of inadequacies in intrinsic torque production mechanisms. The device would have a major impact on the quality of life of individuals suffering from crouch gait. It would enhance the mobility and thus confidence of the said population, allowing better social integration.
