About
The project proposes to begin with the optical and electrical simulations for organic solar cells based on the P3HT:PCBM active layer blend incorporated with gold metallic nanoparticles. The simulation results will comprise graphs for the electrical parameters of the organic solar cell like short circuit current density (Jsc), open circuit voltage (Voc), fill factor (FF) and power conversion efficiency (PCE). The effect of the varied sizes of nanoparticles will be noted along with the optimisation of the active layer thickness. Finally, the best possible obtained organic solar cell will be taken forward for fabrication.
