About

The proposal intends to study magnetoelectricity in M-type hexaferrites and double perovskite ferrite. Both the oxides materials exhibit the ferromagnetic transition temperature above the room temperature. And thus, if any magnetoelectricity is induced in them, they may offer themselves as room-temperature magnetoelectric materials. To address challenges in obtaining room-temperature magnetoelectricity in these materials, an indigenously developed method of PVDF impregnation in the pores of prepared pellets will be adopted.
