About
The research focuses on the strain dependent static and cyclic behavior of bio-enzyme stabilized expansive soil embankment. It comprises of material characterization, embankment model study in the field, and numerical modelling and correlations. The material characterization will provide strength properties, consolidation characteristics, swelling characteristics and dynamic properties of expansive soil stabilized with bio-enzyme. The data generated from the embankment model study in the field will provide variation of stress response,load-deformation response, layer wise deformation and variation of dynamic properties such as shear modulus, damping ratio and degradation index of the embankment model under static and cyclic loading.
