About

The main objectives of the project are: (i) Numerical and analytical studies of the effect of materials parameters in the phase speed and attenuation of elastic body waves propagating in the transversely isotropic medium. (ii) Investigation of the propagation of symmetric and anti-symmetric families of surface waves in a transversely isotropic materials medium and the effect of materials parameters. (iii) The numerical investigation of the effect of materials parameters in the reflection and transmission coefficients of elastic waves in the transversely isotropic media. (iv) The effect of the presence of voids, micropolar and thermal will also be investigated.
