About
This project aims to design and synthesis of amino acid based polymeric architectures having PIB segments in the polymer architectures using combinations of living/controlled RAFT polymerization and cationic polymerization for the development of block copolymers, random copolymers, alternating copolymers, hyperbranched and star polymers, organogels, etc. Polymers will be purified by repeated precipitation or extensive dialysis and characterized by several spectroscopic techniques. Finally, these materials will be tested for applications in the area of controlled drug delivery, gene delivery, crude oil additive, viscosity modifier, separation of oil from oil/water mixture, etc.
