About
The project is primarily intended to deal with the following fundamental and application events in a sequential manner via molecular architecture followed by detailed experimental and theoretical investigations. It also proposes to explore the application aspects including designing near-infrared absorbing materials for new-generation optical devices based on either Intervalence Charge Transfer (IVCT) band in the mixed valent state or radical-based long wavelength transition in isovalent system and metal-ligand redox shuttling prompted molecular functionalisation including small molecule (O2, CO2, NO) activation.
