About
Quasi-Phase Matched (QPM) nonlinear optical frequency conversion is a powerful tool in the development of new laser sources by providing high conversion efficiency and large flexibility in terms of output wavelengths. The aim of this project is to fabricate QPM structures in bulk materials from the grown pure and rare earth doped KTP family (KTP and RTP) by periodic electric field poling.
