About

The present project aims to gain better understanding of the flow physics of compressible turbulent round jets and the noise produced by these jets. DNS and LES would be employed for these studies. The aim is to study the flow topology of the jets, the effects of one-way and two-way coupling between the near and farfields based on LES of the near field and solving Linearized Euler equations in the far field.
