About
Metal particles and liquid oxidizer propellants are popular due to their simplicity, safety, and green exhaust. They can be prepared as Refrigerated Solid Propellants (RSPs) or Gelled Composite Propellants (GCPs). These formulations offer performance comparable to liquid propellants without compromising the design simplicity of solid rocket motors. Numerical treatment of convective fluxes, boundary conditions, grain configurations, and simulations will be conducted for various propellant formulations and compared with experimental data.
