About

Multimodular donor-acceptor-based Pheonothaizine derivatives will be synthesized using coupling and Prato reactions. These derivatives will show solid state emission in the NIR-region, with strong charge transfer. The inclusion of a secondary acceptor extends electronic absorption into the NIR region, a crucial criterion for high-efficiency organic photovoltaics. These systems aim to fill the knowledge gap and develop efficient materials for optoelectronics and imaging applications.
