Research Projects

The project aims to celebrate the contributions of Science and Technology (ST) in the nation's development, highlight the role of scientists and researchers in solving societal problems, and recognize the contributions of passionate science communicators. The proposed activities include setting up a seven-day ST exhibition, inviting outstanding scientists for presentations, inviting a senior minister to preside over the event, and arranging a press meet to introduce award winners. The project also aims to develop role models for the next generation of science workers. The project will involve a Resource Group, designing the exhibition layout, media interaction, and arranging the award ceremony. Silver-coated bronze mementos will be presented to awardees, along with citations, mounted cheques, and cash awards. The project will raise awareness of the importance of science, enroll leading scientists in outreach programs, and build confidence among students to choose science as a career.
