Project Overview
The National Mathematics Day (NSD) will be celebrated at Regional Science Centers (RSCs) of Gujarat University of Science and Technology (GUJCOST) and its Community Science Centre in Gujarat. The program aims to make the next generation aware of recent advancements in STEM, generate interest in mathematic subjects, inspire teachers and faculty to adopt new methodologies, raise public awareness about the importance of science and mathematics education, and foster public understanding of science through interaction with experts. Project activities include interactive lectures, workshops, puzzles, games, math fairs, hands-on workshops, debates, quizzes, paintings, and essays. Additionally, GUJCOST plans to organize activities like Gram Sabha, skygazing, and institute visits to disseminate real-life science and engage with common people. Popular lectures will be organized to keep students, faculty, and citizens updated on current topics like agriculture, telecommunications, water management, and environment.
