National Mathematics Day 2023 is celebrated on December 22, 2023, to honor the contributions of Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan and his contributions to the field. The Central government has declared 2012 as the National Mathematical Year in recognition of Ramanujan's contributions. Proposals for the day will be invited from 55 schools, 34 District Level Committees of Aryabhatta Science Centres, and Science Technology-based institutions. A Central Function will be hosted by the ASTE Council.

National Science Day 2024 will be implemented by the council, focusing on the lasting impact of science on human existence and broadening human minds. With the support of the National Council for Science Technology Communication (NCSTC), DST GOI, and Assam Science Technology Environment Council (ASTEC), the day has become a backbone of ST popularization in Assam. The day aims to focus on the application of science in daily life and its role in developing a compatible society, state, and nation.
