The Manipur Science Technology Council (MASTEC) in Imphal is planning to celebrate National Mathematics Day 2023 and National Science Day 2024 in Manipur. The day aims to highlight the importance of mathematics in daily life and its role in developing a compatible society, state, and nation. The council will organize various competitions, lectures, hands-on activities, drama, and more. The National Science Day 2024 will commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by Prof. C.V. Raman and create a common platform for students, teachers, scientists, and the general public to interact and further science popularization in the state. The council will also take up and implement activities based on the theme circulated by NCSTC, DST, and GOI.
