Project Overview

The KCRSWF is proposing a science industrial field trip for rural SC and ST students to develop scientific temper and encourage careers in science and technology. The project aims to promote awareness about sustainable development, environmental conservation, and astronomy, with a target group of SC and ST students in rural areas of Tukur, Mandya district of Karnataka. The project will last 4 days each, aiming to reach untouched societies and promote socio-cultural activities.

The ST Policy of India aims to promote science and technology in India, aiming to integrate them into all spheres of national and local activity. The project proposes a science industrial field trip to expose SC and ST students to various fields of science and encourage them to pursue careers in science. The KCRSWF will organize and coordinate activities, including visiting science labs, films, and documentaries, to disseminate the importance of adopting technological advantages of science at a micro-level. The project will involve SC and ST students, bus transportation, and media coordination to reach more students and beneficiaries.
