This Science Awareness Mela aims to uplift people living below the poverty line by providing knowledge on topics like malnutrition, healthy habits, sanitation, and hygiene. It aims to generate awareness and scientific temperament among rural and backward populations, promoting scientific temper and environmental protection. The program also emphasizes the neglected role of women in backward families, who are often neglected in household tasks. The Mela aims to educate people about the importance of science, technology, and how it can be used to improve their lives. It also addresses issues like child labor in hazardous industries and agriculture in Mathura, a city in Uttar Pradesh.
