Science is a body of knowledge that represents current understanding of natural systems and the process of establishing and refining it. It plays a crucial role in ensuring a longer and healthier life, monitoring health, providing medicine, alleviating pain, providing water for basic needs, providing energy, and making life more fun. Science must respond to societal needs and global challenges, and public understanding and engagement with science are essential for citizen participation. To address sustainable development challenges, governments and citizens must become scientifically literate and engage with science.

This Science Mela aims to create awareness among the local community, including college students and women, about the COVID-19 pandemic, health, hygiene, and sanitation. The goal is to encourage the local population of Bhind District to embrace science and technology and innovative thinking. Science is important because it has helped form the world we live in today, and the organization proposes a strategy to target gaps and overlaps in existing awareness activities. The objectives of the project include understanding the nature and development of scientific knowledge, participating productively in scientific practices, making society aware of diseases like Covid-19, malnutrition, lifestyle diseases, and promoting the appropriate use of technology in daily life.
