Geetha Shishu Shikshana SanghaR, a non-profit organization in Mysore, India, aims to provide quality technical education to girls through innovative projects. Established in 2003, the institute offers six B.E programs in engineering, two M. Tech programs, and an MBA program. It also offers Ph.D. programs in various fields. The institute has a strong Entrepreneurship Development Cell, which conducts workshops and programs in entrepreneurship. The proposal is to set up an incubation center to promote social entrepreneurs and start-ups contributing to community development and rural development. The center will have a 10,000 square foot area, with a vision to promote 30 start-ups at full capacity. The center will also conduct 14 Idea Labs and Ideathons to identify viable start-up ideas. The project aims to generate direct employment, create assets, and develop cutting-edge technologies in key areas, transforming the lives of at least 50,000 people.
