About
In these work an attempt to develop a low cost, portable ECL based biosensing platform that generate, control and diagnosed disease
biomarkers using a mobile phone inbuilt camera as a luminescence detector. ECL detection requires an external voltage power
supply source to drive the electrolysis which triggers light emission at the electrode. To overcome the use of extra hardware, we are
aiming to use a metal free rechargeable battery or using familiar features of mobile like their ability to play audio by making electrical
connection between electrodes and the mobile audio jack. For analysis and detection of the ECL emission , the photograph of the
luminescence were captured using a mobile phone camera .With current strong research-base and competencies, the investigators
are proposing this project with a goal to develop a workable prototype with streamlined scientific deliverable. We strongly believe that
such device will open a new era for diagnosis of disease biomarkers
