About
In this present project proposal, we synthesize layered double hydroxides and perovskites using various types of Deep eutectic solvents (DES) that serve as a green alternative to reduce the energy requirement and regulate morphology. The utility of the green mediator- DES revealed the environment-friendly synthesis of functional materials with cutting-edge properties. The proposal highlights the use of DES as it limits water consumption, reduces acid requirements, provides enhanced selectivity for the leaching, and also marked its utility in the treatment of biowaste. Owing to their outstanding properties these synthesized functional materials such as LDH and perovskites are used as photocatalysts, electrochemical sensors and energy storage devices. The synthesized materials are subjected to various characterization techniques. Benefitting from their structural attributes, they mark their stand in multifunctional energy and environmental-related applications.
