About
The objective of this project is to meet the requirement of next generation (5G) communication technology requirements in terms of data rate and battery life time. Use of energy harvesting (EH) has been shown to be viable solution to increase battery lifetime of nodes to avoid frequent battery replacement. The hardware designs are in initial stage to meet requirement of 5G and Internet-of-things (IOT) devices lifetime requirements. In this project, our aim is to analyze efficient designs and prototype implementation of energy harvesting modules which are suitable for next generation communication technologies. The outcome of the project can be extended to different fields which are using wireless technologies such as medicine, military and monitoring applications.
