About
Despite advancements in understanding JE pathogenesis, there is no established treatment for it. The role and function of lncRNAs in viral infections, particularly JEV, is in its infancy. Researchers plan to perform whole transcriptomic sequencing analysis to identify JEV-regulated lncRNA in JEV-infected mice brains and characterize their role in Neuroinflammation during JE pathogenesis. This knowledge will help identify novel therapeutic targets for treating JE and increase our understanding of the host response to JEV infection.
