About

Optical vortex solitons are localized structures in nonlinear optics that arise from a balance between dispersion and nonlinearity of media. These vortices are characterized by integer winding numbers or topological charges and have been observed in various branches of physics, including Bose-Einstein Condensation, Hydrodynamics, Plasma Physics, and Nematic Liquid Crystals. They exist in (2+1) and (3+1) dimensions and are highly vulnerable to instabilities, especially in the presence of self-focusing nonlinearity. stabilizing vortex solitons in coupled nonlinear systems is more challenging and computationally demanding, but promising breakthroughs have been achieved with vector vortex solitons in lead glass. The topic of stabilizing 2D and 3D optical vortex solitons in coupled nonlinear fiber systems and exploring their collision dynamics remains relatively unexplored. Recent research has made a pioneering contribution in reporting these phenomena for the first time in the literature.
