About
Flavour Physics is a powerful tool for studying physics beyond the standard Model (sM). Over the past decade, experiments like BaBar, Belle, and LHCb have revealed tensions between measurements of B meson decays and their sM predictions. These decays are mainly induced by semileptonic b→clv and b→sll quark level transitions. These anomalies have been extensively studied in effective field theory and new physics models, such as Leptoquark (LQ). The LHCb collaboration has reported that the flavour ratio R(K) and R(K*) are consistent with the sM, leading to the lepton flavour universal (LFU) new physics. This new physics leads to new constraints on new physics couplings. A re-analysis is needed to combine explanations of both anomalies and identify the most favoured LQ model. The researchers aim to calculate these processes and correlate them with the charged current b→clv anomalies in scalar LQs, providing insight into signatures of LQs in higgs decays at colliders. They also plan to conduct a full sU(3)F analysis of D→PP decays, exploring and quantifying the sU(3)F breaking effects in the D meson system. This would help in understanding CP violation in B and D systems.
