Project Overview
The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a global outbreak, necessitating follow-up studies on both affected and recovered patients. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been proposed as a promising technology to track the spread of the virus and identify high-risk patients. The Random Forest classification algorithm will be used to predict future infection probabilities in recovered patients. A digital web portal will raise public awareness about disease stages and preventive measures. The project aims to recruit COVID-19 recovered patients, conduct laboratory-based prognosis, analyze organ function, analyze cytokine/chemokine plasma levels, and develop an AI-based model for COVID-19 knowledge-base. The collaboration between Japan and India will benefit both countries in various aspects, including the development of a web portal, AI-based integrated model development, and exchange of ideas.
