Project Overview
The project aims to study candidates for Quantum Field Theories (QFT) dual to quantum gravity in four-dimensional asymptotically flat space-time and to classify all possible supersymmetric extensions of the BMS3 algebra, the asymptotic symmetry algebra of three-dimensional asymptotically flat space-times. The project aims to strengthen the proposal of holography in the context of asymptotically flat space-time. The first part will study possible candidate quantum field theories that live on the asymptotic null infinity of four-dimensional asymptotically flat space-times, focusing on their quantum properties and introducing null time dynamics to previously studied Celestial conformal field theories on two-dimensional celestial spheres. This will help arrange scattering amplitudes even with higher quantum correction. The second question is about possible supersymmetries a two-dimensional Carrollian conformal field theory may have, as their corresponding bosonic symmetry matches that of asymptotic symmetry of bosonic gravitational systems without a cosmological constant. Understanding the supersymmetric part will help develop possible supergravity theories in asymptotically flat space-times.
