About

The main course of work is to design 7? tilt system supported on a base structure for the 7.5 m diameter antenna structure. The base structure is basically tapered and rotates about 360 degrees about the azimuth axis. The base structure will be locked for a set azimuth angle of rotation about azimuth axis during the pass time of the satellite. The antenna rotates about the elevation and azimuth axis while tracking the satellite.

Achievements

The project being undertaken by ISRO in collaboration with academia is directly or indirectly beneficial to the society.
