Project Overview

The project aims to investigate the jet in cross flow atomization process using different non-intrusive flow diagnostic techniques. The existing jet in cross flow test facility will be modified to a free supersonic test facility with an injector traverse arrangement. Experiments will be conducted at M=3 operating conditions, and at scaled-down flow conditions as per IPRC requirements. Five injector configurations will be tested with and without swirl arrangement.
